Clients often find me when they feel a need for deep connection, effective bodywork and massage, guidance in healing a stressed nervous system, and alternative options outside of mainstream medical and therapeutic systems.
I provide direct, targeted guidance around lifestyle and habit changes that support overall well-being, helping to lessen anxiety and fatigue.
Together, we work through what has been held in the body for too long—tension, muscle knots, and bracing patterns—allowing for gentle yet profound release. Over the years, I’ve refined ways to do this without the use of painful techniques such as extreme deep pressure or trigger point work. My sessions draw from a specialized blend of Somatics, Ayurvedic Massage, Reflexology, and Celtic Ritual. Clients often leave in a dream-like state, feeling freer in their bodies, moving with greater ease, breathing more deeply, and feeling more connected to their intuition.
I incorporate Celtic Druidic Herbalism through my handmade body oils used during massage, as well as thoughtfully selected take-home products designed to soften and accelerate your healing journey.
I also offer Holistic Korean Facials by request only for those seeking deep relaxation and optimal skin health. These treatments feature Matka Botanicals, a local, woman-owned, Vancouver Island–based skincare line rich in plant-based ingredients. I’ve used this line for years, and my skin is glowing—people often comment that I don’t look my age. Combined with select high-quality Korean products, Japanese facial massage techniques, and a finishing neck and scalp massage, these dreamy spa experiences leave you feeling refreshed with some of the healthiest skin of your life.
Facial bookings are arranged by email—please reach out directly to me to inquire.
As our healing journey deepens, many clients discover layers of grief, sadness, fear, anger, shame, and guilt. These experiences often live in the body as muscle knots, tension, shortened breath, chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, unexplained rashes or skin flushing, sensitivities, and persistent overthinking loops—such as feeling constantly on edge, afraid of getting in trouble, or expecting punishment.
If left unaddressed, these patterns can intensify over time and may contribute to more complex health challenges, becoming increasingly difficult to recover from.
Through my integrated approach of Somatics, bodywork, and counseling, clients often experience profound release that ripples through every area of their lives. Physical health begins to improve first, followed closely by emotional and mental well-being. Relationships become calmer, less strained, and more connected. Work performance improves as intuition comes back online and clients learn to trust themselves more fully.
For those seeking a deeper level of support, I selectively offer an 8-week 1:1 program. This intensive healing container is intentionally unconventional and deeply transformative—part healing, part mentorship, and part homecoming.

I offer individual and group counselling for adults, and ground myself in the truth that my clients are the experts of their own lives. I work via a trauma-informed perspective, and seek to accompany my clients on their paths to healing, discovery, and personal growth. I strive to provide safe, nurturing, non-judgmental care for individuals from all backgrounds and identities.
My specialization is working with individuals in the perinatal time period. The time period between planning to conceive a child and the first few years of parenting is filled with physiological changes, hormonal fluctuations, relationship adjustments, communication challenges, and ever-growing responsibilities. I bring additional training in working with individuals during the perinatal period, as well as my own experiences of being a mother of two young children, both very different, with very different birth stories, to this work. In addition to working with individuals during this time period, I also provide facilitation for an 8-week “Becoming Mothers” group, which focuses on fostering connections with other women going through the same “life moment” and its resulting adjustments, including those of personal identity.
I have seen great evidence that healing occurs through a combination of connection, empowerment, and meaning, and am honoured to support clients as they find and understand the strengths they have within them. I work together with clients, providing support and guidance, as they explore their values, develop self-compassion, tune-in to their bodies’ messages, and explore difficult feelings

Paulinka (she/her) has been working in the healthcare industry for about 10 years, doing everything from personal and group training to kinesiology and rehabilitation. Her passion for travel has had her working all over the world, and what she noticed was that preventative healthcare shared a lot of similarities no matter where it was practiced.
She graduated from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2020, and was practicing acupuncture in Toronto until moving to the island this year. Her love for nature has made it a very easy transition, and she believes that living closer in tune with the elements will strengthen her practice even more.
Paulinka’s approach to therapy is simple; she believes that the body has the innate ability to heal itself, although sometimes, there may be obstructions that prevent it from being able to do so. Through her experience, she believes that acupuncture has a way of bringing the body the tools it needs to get back into its natural balance.

Hello! I’m Sasha Ormiston — Registered Acupuncturist, co-owner of Opal Wellness, and founder of Nurture and Flo Wellness Clinic.
I’m endlessly inspired by the magic of nature, the quiet beauty woven through everyday life, and my journies through life, pregnancy, motherhood and healing. These experiences have shaped both who I am and how I practice — guiding me to create clinic spaces that feel deeply nurturing, intuitive, and rooted in care.
I’ve been practicing acupuncture for over 12 years, and my approach has continued to evolve alongside the many individuals I’ve had the honour of supporting. My treatments are grounded in the belief that true wellness happens when we tend to the nervous system and emotional body, not just the physical. Whether supporting clients through hormonal shifts, fertility journeys, skin concerns, or times of emotional overwhelm, my work is always about creating safety, balance, and connection from within.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep love for facial acupuncture and microneedling — gentle, natural treatments that support everything from fine lines to acne to rosacea and more. But for me, beauty is about so much more than appearance. It’s about feeling at home in your body and in your skin — and I love helping clients find that with the holistic effects of acupuncture.
I also support clients through all stages of their reproductive health — from hormone balancing and fertility support to pregnancy care and postpartum recovery. Working with the cycles and transitions of the body is one of the most meaningful parts of my practice, especially knowing how much this medicine supported me in my own journey.
I’m passionate about sharing the magic and medicine of acupuncture in a way that’s both accessible and deeply supportive. I’m proud of the care environments we’ve built at Opal and Nurture & Flo — spaces where healing feels personal, powerful, and full of heart.

Brit is a Holistic Nutritionist, herb nerd and fungi fanatic who believes that the path to vibrant health,
like laughter, starts in our bellies
Her passion for nutrition was born from the profound impact that food made on her own life and healing journey.
After years of unconscious consumption of processed foods, she developed a host of nutritional deficiencies that lead to periods of debilitating depression, hormonal imbalances and impaired gut health.
It is those personal experiences that contribute to Brit’s infinite well of empathy and understanding and
what fuels her to share her knowledge of nutrition to support her clients to go “beyond the bandaid” and get to the root cause.
Brit’s education-centred approach means that she takes the time to ensure her clients understand the recommendations
she is making. She uses food to improve physiology, creating personalized nutrition and lifestyle protocols, and helps clients to overcome any limiting beliefs preventing them from experiencing their inner and outer radiance.
In addition to nutrition, food sovereignty and regenerative agriculture are other areas of focus for Brit.
Through education and hands-on workshops, she empowers others to grow their own food in an accessible way - whether that’s on a windowsill, in a community garden or their own backyard!
